Without reservation: Julian Börner changes to Hannover - contract

After prolonged negotiations with Sheffield Wednesday and a quarantine, the change is finite perfect. Börner signed a two-year contract on Monday at the Lower Saxony. "I have set myself early on Julian as an important support and I am very satisfied that we could realize the obligation now," said coach Jan Zimmermann.

Hannover had already concluded a contract with the 30-year-old - "subject to reservation", as Klubboss Martin Child declared on June 23. "If he gets the release in Sheffield, he will come to us," says child back then. Börner was bound by 2022 in Sheffield.

After the agreement of all parties and entry to Germany, Börner had to be in a prescribed quarantine in recent week before the transfer could be completed.

Börner, who receives the back number 31, will be carried out for the first time on Tuesday at the 96s. He comes with the experience of 145 second division games (15 goals) to the leash.
