Vanguard is the largest Call of Duty for 10 years - starts with more than twice as many maps like Cold was
In the context of the concept of Leninist cutting edge struggle, vanguardism is a technique whereby one of the most class-conscious as well as politically advanced areas of the proletariat or working course, explained as the cutting edge vanguard, form organizations in order to attract larger areas of the working course in the direction of revolutionary politics and also work as indications of proletarian political power against the bourgeois.

After that is cleared: Below you will find the most important information available for COD Vanguard compact.
COD VANGUARD - General information
On which platforms appears COD Vanguard? Call of Duty: Vanguard appears for the PS5, the PlayStation 4, the Xbox Series X | S, the Xbox One and for the PC via battle.net.
What about post-launch content? Also, after the launch, Vanguard has a bulging calendar to offer free post-launch content together with Warzone, including

Technical details: The most important soon: Vanguard builds on a popular engine of Cod Modern Warfare from 2019. The gunplay is also very strongly based on modern warfare and builds on its system, but was expanded and improved at numerous places.
For example, as in MW in 2019, it is possible to recharge the weapon tactically while keeping the shooting iron in the attack, you can hang the weapons (but now generous) or also shoot out of the cover blind over head.
In addition, Vanguard offers so much destructible environment as never a cod before. Tables (with everything that is on top), chairs, bookshelves, nailed windows - all this can be generously destroyed by shelling or explosions and ensures more immersion and tactical possibilities:
- Books, apples, wine bottles fly through the area
- shot window covers, shelves, partitions or other furniture open new visual and weft fields, depending on the degree of destruction, which also plays a little different
Although the whole thing is not reaching the level of Battlefield (you can not destroy stone walls or even whole buildings), but destruction looks cool and surely and has an impact on the gameplay.
Also interesting: Vanguard should run on all consoles with 60 fps. The PC version should provide a fully optimized experience and is developed by Beenox.
Note of the author: I was already allowed to see Gameplay by Call of Duty: Vanguard. A single player mission was played in which US paratroopers land at night in Normandy. And I have to say: visually the game looks absolutely fantastic - not only for COD conditions, but in general. Shadow, fog, smoke, light effects - all this looks much better at Vanguard in my eyes than in all other series offshoots before.
My personal highlight was an enemy German soldier, which moved behind a clothing sheets on a clothesline and whose silhouette was projected dynamically onto the windscape lying in the wind. Some scenes almost looked out almost photorealistic, some colleagues even asked in disbelief, whether it is actually a live mission we saw there and no rendered Cutscene.
In short: at least visually all fans of Call of Duty on PC and the current console generation expect a real highlight.
By the way, not only I see it that way, but also so many another who was allowed to experience the new cod - for example, the well-known leader Tom Henderson:
What's in COD Vanguard at all? The new COD Vanguard plays as expected in World War II, but not as some leaks suspected in an alternative reality à la Wolfenstein. The game is historically inspired, but does not represent real events or World War II.
The players will survive the origins of military special units as part of the story, as we know them today. In multiplayer, players become special forces operators themselves. Also a zombie experience is on board.
COD VANGUARD - This offers the singleplayer
The story of Vanguard: The campaign revolves around the birth of Special Forces. The whole thing is experienced by the eyes of a multinational group of soldiers, who as Task Force One their way to Berlin tracks.
The team consisting of a British, a Russian, an American and an Australian - all playable characters - fighting over the 4 most important and decisive battlefields of World War II:
- Ostfront
- Western Front
- Africa
- Pacific
Ultimately, however, they are on the way to Berlin and should sabitate a potentially war-decision secret project of the Nazis.
COD VANGUARD - This offers the multiplayer
Traditional multiplayer: In the MP one plays the Special Forces, the formation of which is carried out in the campaign.
The most important columns of the classic multiplayer are there:
- Vanguard comes directly to the launch with proud 20 multiplayer cards. 16 of them are 6VS6 core maps, the remaining 4 are intended for a smaller format. That should satisfy most fans first. Because the last time a COD offshoot started with 16 6VS6 maps, modern Warfare 3 was 3 from 2011. So it will be the largest cod of the last 10 years. Only for comparison: Black Ops Cold was launched last year with a total of 8 cards.
- New Tactical Gameplay: The popular Gunsmith feature from Modern Warfare comes back, but with more options. It will give, for example, individual ballistics and different types of ammunition. In addition, there are the so-called reactive environments that allow an unprecedented degree of destructor of the game environment.
- This and through completely new modes should keep new plays in the game
- One of these modes is the special champion Hill mode. According to the official Call of Duty Blog, this is an evolution of the 2VS2-gunfight modes from Modern Warfare. Champion Hill is to deliver fast action in small squads, where 8 teams compete in a series of 2VS2 fights against each other. The last team that stands. More info should follow in the course of an independent multiplayer reveal
3 ways to play: In the Vanguard multiplayer, there are 3 different Combat Pacinngs (fight tempo - a kind of filter for which you decide), which then decide how to experience the new cod - Depending on the individually preferred game style and tempo:
- Lightning
- In this casual-digit experience, you can expect a never ending and highest possible number of players on a map, so you constantly have someone before the run, there are hardly limits - ie chaos pure and non-stop action
- Tactical ****
- The absolute opposite of lightning - the intensity of the fight is in the foreground here. You make rarer on opponent, every ball counts and is deadly, everything is a lot more tactical. In principle, similar to hardcore.
- Default
- The known, normal manner to play Call of Duty - not too chaotic, not too fast, not too slow / tactical.
Warzone: The in-house Battle Royale Warzone continues to act as a link between the big, annual releases and then becomes Vanguard, Cold and combine modern warfare.
Further detailed details are available in this separate article: Warzone finally brings with Cod Vanguard what all want - Anti-Cheat & New Map
COD VANGUARD - we know about zombies
First Zombies Crossover: COD VANGUARD will also offer a zombie experience. As part of the popular mode, the prologue on the history of zombies in Black Ops Cold should be told.
The cool thing: Treyarch, in principle the urfathers of Zombie mode, are lead in the development of the crossover and help to link the undead story of Vanguard with that of Cold.
- It should arise a contiguous, continuous story - but also a brand new zombie experience with innovative developments in the core gameplay
- Traditionally, however, it is also going to survive a merciless rush of the undead in Vanguard Zombies.
Also interesting:
- COD Warzone starts today great live event, gives you skins - so you get her
- COD Vanguard shows 4 new teasers to the locations - here you will fight
- Leak to Cod Vanguard announces Mini Battle Royale - what could that be?
