  • Further improvements in the overall system stability and other minor adjustments have been made to improve the user experience.

Although game systems seem very outdated with successor platforms for years, which has the older systems not deterred still receive updates. Although the Nintendo Switch was published in 2017, Nintendo made a point to support the dedicated handheld Nintendo 3DS for a while, although it has at this point except for small updates virtually ceased. Since 2018, however, the Nintendo 3DS will receive only about two or even one new update per year, with not too much involved in these updates.

As you can see above, this latest update for the Nintendo 3DS is very simple because it only improves the stability of the system. This is good to see for those who still play on the 3DS, but most people are this is probably completely overlooked in the large installed base of Nintendo switch. However, if you decide to pull out your 3DS to Metroid: Samus returns to play before the release of Metroid Dread, you should update the system.

That's all for the latest system firmware update for Nintendo 3DS. For more information about this patch, visit the official Nintendo Support website at this patch and see the past.
